Stephanie Dufresne, Dani Gill, Laura Sheehan – “After Love”

 

  • Stephanie Dufresne is a dancer, actor and theatre-maker from the West of Ireland currently based in Dublin. She is a graduate of the Rotterdam Dance Academy and the Bow Street Academy for Screen-Acting and enjoys combining her skills in a myriad of different projects. Stephanie works regularly with Emma Martin/United Fall, Irish National Opera and Junk Ensemble and has appeared in music videos for Talos, Crash Ensemble, Francesco Turrisi, Junior Brother and Loah.

  • Dani Gill is a writer and curator, based in the west of Ireland. She published her first collection of poems, After Love, with Salmon Poetry in April 2017. Her second poetry collection Lessons in Kindness, will be published in September 2021. She also writes fiction and has just completed a debut novel.

  • Laura Sheeran is a Dublin based artist and director who works mainly in the areas of film, music and theatre. Her video work has brought her to all parts of the globe with clients such as the Smithsonian, Carnegie Hall, National Gallery of Ireland and musical groups such as Crash Ensemble, Dublin Guitar Quartet and Rhiannon Giddens. As a musician she has toured Europe many times, both as a solo artist and with avant garde collective Fovea Hex. She has released two LP's to date and is currently recording her latest offering EBB.FLOW, due for release in 2022.

 

Conor Donelan – “Between Us There Is...”

 

Conor is an Actor, Dancer & filmmaker based in Wicklow. Conor has been involved in many theatre productions in Ireland and internationally, most notably Brokentalkers/Junk Ensemble’s Edinburgh Fringe production of the award winning It Folds, Mouth On Fire's Tokyo production of Beckett’ Time Passes. He has also performed in Barnstorm Theatre Co.’s Murder Of Crows and AC Production’s Pinter X 4
He has worked with a number of contemporary dance theatre companies including Swansea’s Dynion (Paranormal), Fitzgerald&Stapleton (Smell Of Want), Belfast’s OffTheRails Dance  (The Dutiful Wife), 50%Male Experimental Dance Co. (Living Inbetween),Myriad (PLAYDance),Dance Ireland Associate Artist Catherine Young (The River Will Still Run To The Sea) and Deirdre Griffin (Head Onbody Pantastic), Libby Seward (AnimatedStates) Beckett Play Reimagined. He’s currently working on the post-production of his first short “Alanna”.

Jess Rowell - “Between Us There Is…"

 

Jess Rowell is a freelance dance artist and yoga teacher based in Wicklow, Ireland. She has a specialism in working with children, young people and artists with intellectual disabilities. As Draíocht’s Dance Artist in Residence 2020 Rowell found new and innovative ways of working throughout the year. She facilitated an online project 'Chance to Dance' engaging members of Create Dance, Draiocht’s dance programme for young people with additional needs and invited guest dancers from Traces Dance Ensemble, Co. Waterford. She also created a new collaborative dance work for film 'Between Us There Is...' which will appear in Wicklow Screendance Laboratory 2021. The film features Jess Rowell with dancer Brian McSweeney, captured by Conor Donelan with an original sound score written by composer Stefan French.

 

In early 2020 Rowell also choreographed and performed in a music video directed by Stevie Russell for UK artist DirtyBlond. Link: Dirty Blond - Temporary Fix (Official Music Video) - YouTube

 

Marion Cronin -

 

Marion is an established contemporary dance artist and an emerging choreographer based in Dublin. She holds a BA Honours Degree in Dance from The Scottish School Of Contemporary Dance. Over the past seven years she hastoured extensively across Ireland and internationally working with many choreographers. She is currently working with Laura Murphy, Tamsyn Russell, Jessie Keenan, Megan Kennedy and Theatre Lovett for upcoming work in 2021.

 

She continues to develop her own artistic practice through devising her own work. Her most recent artistic achievements include developing a screen-dance piece called Mary-Land, in collaboration with artist/writer Rachel Burke and being awarded a Dance Bursary Award by the Arts Council of Ireland to begin research on a new dance work for 2021.
